Description
From Antiquity, the medicinal virtues of elderberry are widely recognized in the West and East where the plant is used for its clusters of black berries, white flowers, leaves, and even its bark.
These are the flowers, undoubtedly the most aromatic part of the plant, which enter into the composition of the extract used to make the Joseph Cartron Sureau Elderflower Liqueur. Selected in Austria and Hungary where the quality of their culture is optimal, the fragrant flowers give the liqueur its pleasantly acidic fruit notes, as well as its fresh, delicious and delicately floral character.
